  • Virtual Screening (VS) Platform

    VS is also known as computer screening. Before biological activity screening, the interaction between the target and the candidate drug is simulated to calculate their affinity, using molecular docking software on the computer. This will greatly reduce the numbers of screened compounds and improve the efficiency of discovering target compounds.

  • High-throughput screening (HTS)

    The widespread use of high-throughput screening (HTS) in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology have facilitated the biological activity screening on a large-scale level. Traditional biotechnological analysis is costly and time-consuming. However, high-speed virtual screening allows the analysis to start from a three-dimensional structure of target protein, followed by the characteristics of protein binding sites and the interaction model among small molecular compounds. According to the associated binding energy scores, the evaluation among large-scale compounds is effective to select targets for subsequent biological activity test. This process significantly reduces the cycle and cost of initial drug development.
